Known Security Issues:

Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader and Flash Player, for Windows versions only, have had serious ongoing security issues for close to 3 years.  Today, Jan. 14, 2010, they are saying that both are finally fixed.  Check the Adobe website for more info.  The Linux and OS X versions, always were, and still are safe to use.

Until this is proven, please don’t delete our recommended free alternative to Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader for Windows, just yet.
