The Elliot Lake Computer Club (aka ELCC) was created in the 1990s to assist, educate and entertain computer users in Elliot Lake, Ontario and the surrounding region.

We meet on the first and third Friday of each month (except on Holidays) from 10 AM until Noon, in the Arts Club Room, on the third floor of The Lester B. Pearson Centre on Highway 108. (Insert Map link here)

Membership is only $ 5.00 per year, plus $ 2.00 at the door per meeting. So, come on out and enjoy free coffee and snacks, informative Demos, and lots of Tips and Tricks. Please feel free to post your Computer (software and hardware) Questions and Answers on the Q & A Blog TAB, for all to share! Friends, family and guests are always welcome, too.

Demos and Tutorials:

We are always looking for suggestions on Demonstrations you’d like to see. And, more often than not, we need a few days (3 – 5) advance notice to prepare for them. If we can, we try to keep them down to 15 to 20 minutes. And you, as members, are encouraged to share your knowledge and expertise by presenting your own demos, too.

Longer demos, like “How to Install a Windows 7 Upgrade” could take up a full meeting. These are often called a SIG (Special Interest Group) meeting, and usually require much more time to prepare, sometimes up to a month, but are well worth the extra effort.

To Do List:

(Insert Application form, and ELCC Guidelines here, via FTP)
